The OleumTech System includes a full line of Wireless Transmitters and Sensors that are battery-powered and intrinsically safe (C1/D1), while the Wireless Gateways and I/O Modules require minimal external power that is easily supplied with solar. By enabling wireless connectivity for SCADA monitoring and control, the OleumTech System eliminates trenching and running conduit wiring. The OleumTech Wireless Network ties into virtually any backbone SCADA solutions via Modbus or LevelMaster ASCII and is compatible with most third-party RTU, PLC, DCS, EFM, and HMI devices. This wireless sensor infrastructure is an easy to use, flexible, and scalable wireless SCADA control and monitoring solution. It can simply be used for monitoring a single process condition such as liquid level, temperature, pressure, flow, or discrete channel to monitoring hundreds of process conditions and end nodes within a single wireless network or infrastructure. Other applications include sending data over multiple Wireless Gateways to cover a longer distance (eliminating High Cost Long Haul Radios), wireless I/O mirroring, wireless valve control, wireless pump control, and wireless failsafe control applications.
Most of the OleumTech Transmitters have been determined to be safe in the Class 1 Division 1 environments, often found in hazardous locations. With a Transmitter to Gateway wireless range up to 7500 feet, the system can be implemented on the largest of sites without need for trenching and cabling. The EZTouch SE Series employs a unique new technology of white LED displays in place of the traditional CCFL bulbs. White LED increases the life of the HMI by a factor of 2, even at elevated temperatures. White LED display has a 30-40% higher brightness rating, no wet bulb temperature issue like CCFL bulbs, and has a life of 75000 hours at 55°C.
Brighter and more power efficient bulbs translate to an easier to read screen for use outdoors and in sunny remote locations. It also means you are able to use a large and easy to read screen with a lesser power requirement resulting in a lower total cost to the end user. TCOP Solutions is able to integrate these USA built HMI's into a small pole mount enclosure for deployment into any permanent or portable work site.
